Hyundai has developed a flexible display for multimedia systems

In modern cars, displays play a key role, so Hyundai Mobis decided to make a breakthrough by creating a prototype screen that can roll up

Main advantage such a decision – compactness. When folded the device’s body does not exceed a couple of tens of centimeters in length and width, but when the display unfolds – its working surface increases many times over – the maximum diagonal here is about thirty inches.

The manufacturer reports that this module can be installed almost anywhere in the cabin – on the center console, ceiling, etc. Some European automakers have already become interested in the development.
