Toyota has announced a new electric pickup and an electric version of Land Cruiser

about the new products during the presentation in Brussels, where Toyota also introduced the updated BZ4X, C-HR+ and URBAN Cruiser. On the final slide of the presentation, a silhouette of an electric power is shown, which, according to experts, could become an electrical version of Tacoma or Hilux. Its exit is scheduled for 2026

Among the Toyota concepts, the most similar to the silhouette to the novelty is the Toyota EPU Concept, presented in 2023. This model was distinguished by an unusual design and sliding cargo platform, which allowed to increase the length of the cargo compartment from 137 cm to 244 cm. If the serial version of the electric power picaps retains these features, it can become a competitor to Rivian R1T and Tesla Cybertruck.

In addition to pickupa, another car was noticed on the presentation, presumably the electrical version of the Land Cruiser called SE. Toyota has already demonstrated the concept of an electric car in 2023, and now introduced it live in Brussels, which may indicate an imminent launch of model production.
