The Korean industrial giant decided to take a break from cars for a while and discover a completely new industry – space transport

Just the other day, representatives of the brand announced the launch of a project to create a lunar mobile module. The Lunokhod will consist of two parts — mobile platform and the equipment complex that will be installed on it. It is stated that Hyundai will use all the advanced developments here, including an autonomous control system, solar panels for recharging standard batteries and much more.

The first prototypes will be shown in 2024, and testing programs will begin at the same time. According to the original plan, the “lunar launch” will take place in three years – in 2027. As part of which program exactly the space Hyundai will go to the Moon has not yet been specified
